Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

£100 Sainsbury’s Voucher – World Cancer Research Fund UK

1. Promoter

The promoter is World Cancer Research Fund UK, a registered charity in England and Wales (Registered Charity No. 1000739), of 140 Pentonville Road, London N1 9FW (“WCRF UK” or “the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over.
2.2 Employees of WCRF UK and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the prize draw are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.

3. Promotional Period

3.1 The prize draw opens at 00:01 (GMT) on 1 March 2026 and closes at 23:59 (BST) on 31 July 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
3.2 Entries received outside this period will not be counted.

4. How to Enter

4.1 Entry is free and no purchase or donation is necessary.
4.2 To enter, participants must complete the online entry form during the Promotional Period and submit their contact details as requested.
4.3 Internet access is required. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or corrupted due to technical reasons.

5. The Prize

5.1 One (1) winner will receive a £100 Sainsbury’s gift voucher.
5.2 The voucher is subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions.
5.3 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.
5.4 WCRF UK reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period.
6.2 The draw will take place within 7 days of the closing date.
6.3 The winner will be notified by email or telephone within 7 days of the draw.
6.4 If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, WCRF UK reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity

7.1 WCRF UK may request the winner’s consent to publish their first name and county for transparency purposes.
7.2 The Promoter must either publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, WCRF UK will send the surname and county of the winner to anyone who emails [insert email address] within one month after 31 July 2026.
7.3 If the winner objects to their surname and county being made available, they should inform WCRF UK when notified. In such circumstances, WCRF UK must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.

8. Data Protection

8.1 Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Data will be used for the administration of the prize draw and in accordance with WCRF UK’s Privacy Policy (available at [insert website link]).
8.3 Participants may opt in to receive further communications from WCRF UK; this is not mandatory for entry.

9. Liability

9.1 WCRF UK does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
9.2 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. General

10.1 WCRF UK reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
10.2 The decision of WCRF UK regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding.
10.3 The prize draw and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
