I have witnessed the severity of this disease with others. Patients & Carers require Government assistance for support especially with more folk being diagnosed daily with P D.
A P D diagnosis ls a dreaded and vicious disease, with patient and family members experiencing growing concern and anxiety as both subtle and more noticable symptoms /changes tend to surface over years with some folk still facing the frustration and stress of an initial diagnosis 14 years on from initial symtoms requiring ongoing Specialist monitoring prior to a specific diagnosis of P D. Without any doubt at all this becomes more challenging when a husband, wife or partners are in their latter years of life and extremely likely to be dealing with other health issues as well.
