I am a rural pharmacist in nsw and have seen a huge increase in the rates of Parkinson’s amongst my patients. Funding has just been decreased and our area no longer has the services of a Parkinson’s nurse. I am continually upskilling to provide information to my desperate patients and their families. I can see a very big need for more funding and educational services.
