Parkinson’s Disease is so debilitating. I know several people with it, have attended a support group with my friend, have seen the impact of Parkinson’s Disease on their lives. My friend’s quality of life has totally disintegrated to the point where she can no longer swallow so is fed via a “peg”, cannot walk, control her hands, her speech has become very difficult to understand. Plus other effects.
She has no hope of any improvement, only of further regression.
There are so many people facing similar decline, funding support is needed urgently.
