Dear Minister Park
I am writing as a concerned NSW resident.
My best friend, aged 64, is living with advanced Parkinson’s disease. He is a former airline captain who flew Boeing 747s and Airbus A380s. Today, he can barely walk or feed himself. Watching such a capable person lose his independence is devastating.
Parkinson’s disease is increasing rapidly, yet research funding remains inadequate. I respectfully urge you to consider stronger support and funding for Parkinson’s research in New South Wales, to improve treatments and work toward slowing or stopping this disease.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
