Because my Dad had Parkinson’s and passed away in May. My mum is a lot younger than Dad and spent years looking after him as he declined till she couldn’t look after him at home anymore. It broke both of them him having to go to a nursing home. If there had been more support both in services and finances he could have spent his last year at home instead of isolated.
