My lifelong friend,only 67, has been living with early onset Parkinson’s for 39 years. He is devastated to have had to move into an aged care facility amongst residents with who he has zero affinity. He is devastated to no longer live with his wife. This is because there is no dedicated home care support for those living with Parkinsonism. Neither aged care nor NDIS are fit for purpose. Fix it.
