My mum has Parkinson’s and the Government needs to help this on growing disease.
It’s one of the cruelest symptoms to see on a daily basis.they have 7 or more lives.
Elderly people need their own hospital .we as a family have to navigate for our mother in the hospital because their always short .
My mother had a change in her medication but routine is most important and she wasn’t looking her best they wanted her sent home had her medication all ready for discharge and I refused and was going to speak to the Director in charge .
I was not comfortable for her out come needed more support and monitoring on her changes which this affects her brain and all the motor skills.
It’s time to fund Parkinson’s

Needs to fund Parkinson’s nsw they helped me so much with my mother’s medication my mums Parkinson’s specialist was not available she was on holiday s I needed answers my mother suffered every night kept everyone awake .
More service’s for our local area we had a Parkinson’s nurse that they would be able to see and because their was no funding to keep the nurse on the people suffer thier is no support I live in nowra.
Education for patients familys work places community care staff.needs education they get thrown into the deep end with one buddy shift not except able when it comes to our dearly love ones .
