Violence against women has long lasting impacts on women’s ability to live lives of dignity. Their lives are impacted on every level including the ability to perform and earn well in work – greatly influencing inequality of women in the world. Women need money and power not so they can abuse others as many men do with this but so they can provide themselves with a safe place to live and live full happy lives without men preventing them from feeling they have to stay in abusive relationships .
