Who is Aid to the Church in Need?

Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) is an international Catholic charity and a pontifical Foundation of the Catholic Church.

For more than 75 years, ACN has supported persecuted and suffering Christians in over 130 countries by:

• Providing emergency aid to displaced Christian families
• Supporting poor and persecuted priests
• Funding formation of seminarians
• Helping poor religious Sisters
• Rebuilding churches destroyed by conflict
• Distributing Bibles and catechetical materials

ACN’s mission is pastoral, not political. Its purpose is to strengthen the Church where it is persecuted, oppressed, or in need.
